Educators Forum
Our Educators Forum provides an opportunity for us to introduce you to opportunities we have coming up for you, the chance for you to meet fellow educators peers and to discuss with us how we can support the creative activities you'll be delivering this term. The Forum is open to anyone involved in any means of education - home educators, community engagement, nurseries, creative classes, schools, colleges, universities - across the region!

Internships and Placements
Playmakers offer placements to students based at the University of Winchester.
Students work directly with the Playmakers team on Hat Fair and other creative projects.
Winchester School of Art runs placements with Play to the Crowd through the Excell Internship Programme.

Top Hat
Playmakers' Top Hat is a competition open to current students and graduates from the University of Winchester.
The competition is a place each year at Hat Fair festival and provides a platform for student performers to showcase their performance work.
Winners of the Top Hat competition will be mentored by the Hat Fair Director to develop a brand new show that will be part of the following year's Hat Fair festival programme.

Hat Fair Carnival: Teacher Training
Each year Hat Fair Outdoor Arts festival opens with a burst of riotous colour and costumes as hundreds of local school children celebrate down Winchester High Street in our fabulous Hat Fair Carnival.
We provide specialist training for teachers to make amazing carnival costumes so that they can inspire their pupils to make their own and join in the fun!
